BRAZIL - Brazil will resume exports of fresh pork to South Africa following the lifting of the ban South African Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF).Since 2005, negotiations for reopening the market have been held between the two countries.The ban was implemented due to outbreaks of foot-and-mouth disease in Brazil that year and only cuts intended for the sausage industry were accepted.In 2014, shipments of pork to South Africa totaled $25,000. 巴西在南非農業、林業和漁業部(DAFF)解除禁令后，將重新向南非出口清新豬肉 。自2005年起，兩國就向來環繞重新開放市場的議題展開談判 。由于巴西當年爆發口蹄疫疾病 ， 南非從此開始對其頒布豬肉進口禁令，只接收部分用于香腸行業的豬肉 。巴西2014年向南非出口的豬肉總價值2.5萬美元，2015年的豬肉出口價值為53.8萬美元，去年為370萬美元 。
